Tom Skladany held every punting record at Ohio State, including career average (42.7), season average (46.8) and game average (52.3). He still holds the game record, set in 1976 against Michigan. A four-year letterman between 1973-76, Skladany was a team captain in ’76. He still holds the record for the longest FG (59 yards against Illinois). He was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 1981 season. In 1991, Mr Skladany was inducted into the Ohio State "Varsity O" Hall of Fame.
