- Details - James Cotton is a former American and Canadian football defensive end, who played in both the Canadian Football League and National Football League. He played two seasons (1998-99) with the Ohio State University Buckeyes after transferring from the City College of San Francisco…in 24 career games with the Buckeyes Cotton made 72 total tackles (54 solo) including 14 for 54 yards in losses…had six quarterback sacks, five pass knock downs and two forced fumbles. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 2000 NFL Draft and attended the Bears training camp and was released prior to the start of the regular season. After retiring from Professional Football, Mr Cotton founded the BUCK-ICON Foundation.
